Warranty |

1. Warranty period is 12 months from invoice date. For oversea shipment, the period is extended to 15 months after invoice date or 12 months after installation, whichever comes first. Warranty applies to refrigerator system and parts, excludes wear and tear items such as light bulbs gaskets, wire shelves, etc.
2. Warranty does not cover any consequential damages, down time or other expenses directly or indirectly resulting from the breakdown.
3. Warranty does not include units that are subjected to misuse, neglect, abuse, improper maintenance, improper installation, unauthorized alteration, damages during transportation, power surges, poor supply voltage, chemical damage, water damage, flood or acts of God.
4. WELBILT reserves the right to reject any warranty claim, if it is not completely satisfied with the information from customer or with the circumstances under which it occurred. In any way, WELBILT cannot be responsible for any consequential damages that may result, directly or indirectly from the breakdown of our products. Compensation from WELBILT shall be limited to replacement cost of the damaged parts, excluding installation charges, which is the responsibility of the dealer. |

Warranty Claim Procedure |

1. When shipment arrives, if there is evidence of damage on the package or on the unit itself, customer should, immediately, inform WELBILT and file a written complaint with the freight delivery representative.
2. Customer should take picture of the damage, including the nature of package as received.

3. For all claims, either for units damaged in transit or for breakdown during warranty period, a warranty claim form must be duly filled in with serial number and job number of the unit as indicated on the unit nameplate (see figure attached). |
Major spare part serial number should also be included. The form shall be sent together with pictures of damaged or broken down parts and proof of purchase Proof of purchase from the dealer who supplied the units.
4. Information shall be forwarded to WELBILT to determine the validity of warranty. Upon approval, replacement parts shall be sent freight prepaid.
5. Customer may be required to send back the damaged or broken down parts. In this case, they shall be sent to WELBILT or approved representative with freight prepaid.
6. To speed up the claim process, customer may arrange for payment of the parts claimed so that they can be shipped out immediately. When the parts in question are determined to be covered under warranty, the amount paid shall be promptly refunded. |
